The Academic Archives act as a digital vault for your school's history. When you move to a new session, all your current data is "frozen" and stored here for future reference.
Accessing Archives
From the Main Dashboard, click on the Archives card. This will show you a list of all past academic sessions that have been successfully promoted.
1. What's Inside?
The archives provide a **Read-Only** snapshot of your school at the moment the promotion occurred. You can view:
- Student Lists: See which students were enrolled in which class during that specific session.
- Mark Cards: Re-print or view the final result sheets and mark cards for any archived student.
- Performance Metrics: Review attendance and exam statistics for past years.
2. Read-Only Policy
To maintain data integrity and comply with educational audits, archived data cannot be edited or deleted.
Printable
Print duplicate certificates or mark cards.
Non-Editable
Old records are locked for security.
3. Generating New Archives
Archives are not created manually. They are generated automatically by the system during the Student Promotion process. Once a session ends and you transition to the new academic year, the system "locks" the current data and moves it to this vault.
Did You Know?
You can search for a student's name in the Archives to find their historical record across multiple years. This is extremely helpful when verifying old enrollment details or providing character certificates for graduated students.
