Smart School's Fee Structure module lets you define the monthly pricing for every active class in your school. It handles standard recurring fees and allows adding unlimited dynamically named custom fee items per class card.

Accessing the Settings

From the Private School Dashboard, click on the Fee Structure button.

1. Class Cards Auto-Generation

The system automatically generates a settings card for every class in your school's configured active range (from your lowest class to your highest class, e.g., Pre-Nursery to 10th). This keeps the page clean and relevant to your school's setup.

2. Core Fee Fields

For each class card, you can configure the base monthly charges:

  • Monthly Tuition: The recurring base tuition fee charged every month.
  • Computer Fee: Optional recurring technology or lab fee.

3. Dynamic Custom Fee Items

If your school collects extra fees (e.g. Admission, Examination, Sports, Library, or Development fund), you can configure them dynamically for each class card:

  1. On the class card, find the Custom Fee Items section and click + Add Fee.
  2. Enter the name of the fee in the text box (e.g., Exam Fee).
  3. Enter the amount of that fee.
  4. To delete a custom fee, click the red trash icon next to the row.
The top right corner of each card dynamically calculates and previews the Total Monthly Fee for that class index as you type.

4. Saving and Application

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the floating Save Changes button. Once saved, these rates are stored securely and will be used as the template when you generate the monthly bills for students.
