The MDM module is designed to simplify the complex record-keeping required for government-sponsored meal programs. It automates calculations for cooking costs and rice consumption based on your daily student attendance.
MDM Dashboard
Access the MDM Dashboard from the main menu to see a real-time summary of your **Rice Stock** and **Cooking Costs** across three departments: **Balvatika (PRE)**, **Primary (PRY)**, and **Middle (MID)**.
1. Daily Data Input
To keep your records accurate, you should perform daily entries for students served and periodic entries for stock movements.
Daily Entry
Input the number of students who consumed meals today. The system calculates rice usage and costs automatically.
Opening Bal
At the start of each month, set the carried-forward rice balance for each department.
Rice Lift
Log new stock arrivals (Rice Lifting). Note: 1.0 units = 100Kg (Quintals).
2. The Consumption Ledger
The ledger provides a detailed audit trail of your monthly activity.
- Date-wise Breakdown: See exactly how many students were covered each day and the specific rice consumption (in KG) for that day.
- Duplicate Protection: If you try to save data for a date that already exists, the system will ask for confirmation before replacing the record.
3. Monthly Reports & Exports
At the end of the month, you can generate consolidated sheets for submission to authorities.
- Click on Monthly Reports from the MDM Dashboard.
- Select the desired month and department.
- View the **Consolidated Sheet** which totals all students, rice consumed, and total cooking costs.
- Use the Export feature to save the report as a PDF or Excel file for physical filing.
