Smart School provides a powerful multi-channel communication system. Whether it's a sudden holiday announcement for the whole school or a private fee reminder for a single parent, you can send it in seconds via Android notifications and WhatsApp.
The Digital Notice Board
Located directly on your Main Dashboard, the Notice Board is your central hub for broadcasting news. Only administrators and staff with specific permissions can post here.
1. Posting a School-Wide Notice
For general announcements (e.g., "Parent-Teacher Meeting tomorrow"), use the Post Notice action:
- Headline: A short title that appears in the scrolling banner.
- Details: The full message students see on their app.
- Attachments: Upload PDF datesheets, circulars, or event images.
- Banner Toggle: If enabled, the notice scrolls at the top of every user's dashboard.
- Auto-Expiry: Set a date for the notice to disappear automatically.
2. Targeting Specific Classes
If you select a Target Class (e.g., Class 10), the system ensures only relevant users are notified:
Smart Filtering
Students in the selected class receive an instant Android Notification. The notice won't clutter the dashboard for other classes.
3. Personal Student Notices
Need to send a fee reminder or a private message to a specific student?
- Go to Admission Register.
- Locate the student and click the Message Icon.
- Enter your message and set an optional expiry date.
- The student gets a private notification and can view the notice in their personal portal.
4. WhatsApp Integration
Every notice—global or personal—comes with a one-click WhatsApp Button:
Group Sharing
Use the WhatsApp icon on the dashboard to share headlines directly to your school's WhatsApp group.
Individual Messaging
When sending personal notices, toggle "Also open WhatsApp" to get a pre-filled message ready to send to the parent.
