Every school on our platform gets its own professional, mobile-responsive public website. The Website Settings section allows you to control your school's branding, contact information, and digital tools.
What is Website Setting?
It is a dedicated dashboard where you manage how the world sees your school online. From here, you can upload your logo, set your principal's message, and update your physical address which appears on both the website and official documents.
Finding the Settings
Once logged in as an Administrator, you will find Website Settings directly in the top navigation bar (Navbar). It is accessible from any page within the admin dashboard.
1. Branding & Visuals
This section controls the identity of your school website:
- School Logo: Upload your official emblem. This appears on the website header and all printed certificates.
- Banner Image: The large hero image that welcomes visitors to your homepage.
- Principal's Desk: Upload the Principal's photo, name, and a "Welcome Message" for the community.
- Tagline: A short catchphrase (e.g., "Knowledge is Power") shown under the school name.
2. Digital Signature Setup
Smart School can automatically sign your certificates and mark cards!
How to Add a Digital Signature:
- Scan the Headmaster/Principal's signature on a white piece of paper.
- Use a "Background Remover" tool to make it a transparent PNG (Optional but Recommended).
- Upload the file under the Digital Signature field.
- Toggle "Auto-print on Certificates" to ON.

3. Location & Google Maps
Make it easy for parents to find your school:
Adding Google Maps
Go to Google Maps, find your school, click "Share", then "Embed a map". Copy the HTML code (the part starting with <iframe>) and paste it into the Google Map Embed Code box in settings.
4. Content Management (CMS)
Keep your website fresh with the following options:
Events
Add upcoming holidays, sports meets, or exams. They appear in a timeline on your site.
Achievements
Showcase your school's pride—awards, toppers, and successful event results.
5. Social Media & Contact
Connect your social presence:

What People Will See
Once you toggle "Publish Website" to ON, anyone visiting your link will see a professional homepage with live student counts, recent notices, principal's message, and your contact/social links.
